Registration for Winter 2025 opens on Saturday, November 23rd at 9AM! Class spots fill up fast. You won't want to miss this date.
This class is for students of any level! Join us if you have little or
no experience using the potter’s wheel, or if you've been
doing it for years. Beginners will learn basic skills such as wedging
clay, centering on the wheel, and forming fundamental shapes such
as mugs, bowls, plates, and vases. More advanced students will
focus on more throwing techniques, strengthening and varying
form, and increasing knowledge of glazing. A great class to learn
from a teacher and your peers.
Class includes demonstrations and personal instruction.
Tuition includes 25 lbs. of clay, glazes, firing and open studio time.
Each session meets for 10 weeks.

This class is for advanced students who have great familiarity with the potter’s wheel! Improve and build upon your knowledge and techniques of wheel throwing. This class will focus on advanced throwing techniques, complex forms, and surface decoration. Class discussions and critiques of fired works will allow students to explore their individual styles.
Class includes demonstrations and personal instruction.
Tuition includes 25 lbs. of clay, glazes, firing and open studio time.
Each session meets for 10 weeks.

Beginners will learn basic handbuilding skills such as slab, coil, and pinch pots, and all students will refine technique, surface treatment, and finishing options. More advanced students will dig into their own personal style by exploring more complex forms. Class discussions and critiques of fired works will allow students to better explore these individual styles.

Tuition includes 25 lbs of clay, firing costs and open studio time.

This class focuses on turning the fundamentals of handbuilding into pieces of abstract art. Geared towards non-functional ceramic objects, this class will require you to think about shape and movement over utility. Demonstrations on coils, pinching, and slab building will occur throughout the course to help you bring your ideas to life.
Class includes demonstrations and personal instruction.
Tuition includes 25 lbs of clay, firing costs and open studio time.
Each session meets for 10 weeks.
